Dr. Gingrich grew up in this area and attended Holy Cross Lutheran grade school in Collinsville and Triad High School in Troy. She graduated from Valparaiso University with highest honors and received her medical degree from St. Louis University. In 1993 she completed her specialty training and went on to become board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has continued her certification on an annual bases through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She recently received a plaque commemorating her award as one of the best OB/GYNs in America. But she is proudest of her four children ranging in age from 21 to 31 and attends their activities here and in Dallas where they go to school.
As a woman in her fifties, she can relate not only to bearing and raising children but also to hot flashes and night sweats and the many other changes that come with aging. This has led to her interest in the medical spa and special treatments that can make all women look better and feel better about themselves.
Dr. Sanford is returning to her roots, here, in the metro-area. She was born and raised in East St. Louis, IL. and attended East St. Louis Sr. High school.
Dr. Sanford finished her undergraduate and post-baccalaureate studies at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri and The University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, respectively.
After graduating with an M.D. degree in 2006 from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, Kimberly went on to complete her residency in Lansing, Michigan at the Sparrow Hospital/Michigan State University program.
Participating in sports and outdoor activities has been one of her passions. In 2005 Dr. Sanford participated in the "Rock and Roll" half marathon in Virginia Beach, VA as part of the Team In Training group that represents the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She, certainly, looks forward to getting to know the surrounding communities of the Maryville Women's Center during similar activities promoting health and wellness.
Dr. Sanford is excited about the opportunity to serve her community while renewing old relationships and fostering new relationships through her work at the Maryville Women's Center.
Lynn completed a Bachelors in medical Science and is a graduate of St. Louis University Physician Assistant Program Class of 1992. She was placed on the Dean's List and kept Honors status during her training. Lynn maintains her Continuing Medical Education hours and is board certified through NCCPA.
Lynn was a full time P.A. for 10 years in Primary Care and has concentrated on OB/GYN full time for the past 8 years. With 18 years of experience she can address a wide variety of issues and treat the patient as a whole. She understands the health concerns facing today's women and works to find the best treatment plans for her patients.
Lynn is originally from Clinton County in southern Illinois. She is married and raising her two children with a Catholic foundation. In their spare time her family enjoys camping, boating, and watching NASCAR.
Tamara "Tammy" Young is a certified nurse midwife. Tammy attended Kaskaskia College for my Associates in Nursing. Her bachelors of science in Nursing was from McKendree College. Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing for her certificate in Midwifery. Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio for her Masters of Science in Nursing.
Tammy has worked in obstetrics since she was 18 years old. She spent 12 years working as an obstetrics Nurse and as a childbirth educator.
Tammy has been at Maryville Womens Center since November 2004. She provides gynecological, preconception, and maternity care. Tammy was the first midwife at Anderson hospital to attend births. As a midwife her care is mostly geared toward the low risk pregnancy population, but she also co-manages many of the high risk patients with the physicians.
Tammy lives in Greenville, Illinois with her husband, Tony and two beautiful girls, Ashley and Allison.
Sharman Russell M.D
Dr. Russell grew up in Driggs, Idaho, a small town outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University and received both a master’s degree and her medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University outside of Chicago, Illinois.
After graduating from medical school in 2010, Sharman completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. During residency she volunteered at a free health clinic, served on the resident council and was an advisor and teacher for medical students.
Sharman enjoys spending time with her husband Andrew and their twin girls, Emily and Sarah. When she has time she enjoys golfing, attending Mizzou football games and reading. She is excited to return to a smaller town similar to where she was raised.
